Engineer Micheal Saladis, bassist Robert Kling, guitarist Jeremy Joyce, pianist Ben Herrington, and vocalist Anne Elise Hastings (titles are good, but also these are mostly just my dear friends) and myself got together in the dead heat of summer in 2021 to record these tracks at the “Palace” on the 6th floor of the Fountainblue building off Tulane. Surviving off cold brew and finger sandwiches for 2 days we recorded live the single Flowers and 5 other tracks. A few of those tracks made it to this all covers EP. With the addition of a few over dubs, some delightful harmonies from Renee Gros on Everything Is Free and nasty drumming from Scotty Graves we present to you “the Palace Sessions” I hope you enjoy the music!
