With only strings, guitar, and vocals, this track shows hints of The Beatles’ “Elenor Rigby” and Ray LaMontagne’s “Be Here Now.” Hochkeppel’s heartfelt performance paints a picture that anyone who’s felt lost or homesick can relate to. “This song was written when two of my dearest friends were struggling with immigration issues, and I wanted them and anyone else in a similar situation to know that love is around them. Most people are here to help and to give you a safe space…” Says Hochkeppel. The track was recorded at Piety Street Studios in the heart of New Orleans with legendary producer and engineer, Chris Finney. Special guests from surrounding cities joined in on the string quartet to make a lush and warm sound for a meaningful release.
